Clock is ticking, blood pressure rising for the site workers. when winter arrives, works have to postpone again..oh, i'm eager to see the finished building. To get inside one of the longest naves in the country, to photograph the grandness..and to share the beauty with you, before christmas.

it looks like there's a lot of work left, fingers crossed it's finished before christmas.
that’s a fine scene from the site Kris.
What a great picture! The clock, the scaffold and netting, the worker and "pillar's" capital all arranged in a composition that tells your story and fills the frame. It is great!
I like your comments a little bit more. :)
and expecting the finished building ....

it looks like a renovation but not old building, right? In HK, they would be knocking them down...sigh...I guess that's why Europe is beautiful :)
pls show us the results too:)
I am sure, you will show a result to us.
Have a happy weekend, Kris!
This looks like a great old building. I love seeing the "in progress" shot, so nice.
Interesting shot. Looks like lots of work to be done. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished result.
Sounds like we have something to look forward too.
I would NOT want to be that worker.
Lisi,
Restoration works take longer = increase of cost, so not viable?
*sigh* too. Back home many colonial buildings are not appreciated by the gov.
Ruth,
the works are slow, i guess its the delicate of old buildings. Like you, seeing the process is as exciting!
Thanks all for your visits :)
Fascinating. I hope they can finish in time. I look forward to the interior.
I love 'men at work' pictures, especially on such a lovely building!
