Moving along..

It was the case of younger sibling inheriting the older sibling's toys ;) That's how the children's library was (re)born, when the town's library moved to a bigger facility.

These kids were so engrossed in their chess game that they didnt notice a 5'7" invading their space with a camera. In another corner, there were children on the computers. Hey, only one kid was reading..haha. Basically its a nice relaxing place to be in, if only I'm under 14 again..

ps. got to finish off translation work again, check the rest of your blogs later..Happy Sunday!

glad to see that the children prefer the books with the plays videos.
In certain cribs in France, one starts to put of Webcam, so that the parents can see their children while they are with work. I find that it is a good idea.
I wish you a good weeck end

I love libraries, especially the kids section when it is nicely set up. I used to take my kids there a lot when they were little.
I'm not sure about the webcam, as a mother I would be very distracted in my work if I could turn to my children all the time...

these small "chairs" are very familiar to me. When i used to live in a dormitory several time after a long party we puted like 8 of them together and slept there:)

I agree with Natalie's comments about the children's section. In most libraries I've visited they are comfortable, colourful, and inviting. As a child I recall sitting on the floor between rigid bookcases in the stacks. What a difference among generations of children. This one looks great!

Cute photo ... I think more time is spent in Barns and Noble than the library.

You don't often see children playing chess. We bought an Amish chess table, and it is always to see our kids using it!
