Impression

My partner said that I've portrayed Szentes as a under developed village due to my frequent postings of "ruins" :p, such as the structure shown above.

Have to admit I am particularly fond of older and one of its kind (in the town) structures. This one, for example appears to function as a house. Imagine having such a facade and dome for your home! If only i have the chance to view the interior...how can I not post it here?

So, let me ask you dear regulars visitors, what's your impression of Szentes through this blog?

Hi, The best about this one is how the image fades into the past. TV antenna on the roof or not, you can almost expect to see someone leaving the building in a top hat the next minute.

My sense is that you have no intent to portray the town in any particular light. What you share here is a collection of Szentes images you found intriguing, and that's it... Excellent job.

You've made it such an interesting journey. Any city in Europe will always have the old and the new, all equally as beautiful. But it's what an inhabitant finds interesting enough to share is what makes our daily journey so much better. I agree with Istvan. Better yet for me is the fact you're Malaysian. Bes gila Kris!

You portray Szentes as a town full of interest. It is a personal view and you do not express an opinion, but show us many things.

Let the tourist board worry about "image"!

I keep coming back precisely because of your photographic skill and the subjects you choose to photograph. You have given us a little peek into the city, and you have done a great job.

I disagree with your partner. I think you've done a good job of protraying your city. I like seeing the charming old buildings and we've seen some green posts too recently. It looks lovely. Keep up the good work!

Oh Kris,
I have never thought, what impression you or anyone is giving about our cities!
I always admire your photographs as pictures, which have been so good ones.
We can see from web cameras or photographs of tourist guides those nice photos of every town, we have Google and Internet for that!!
Say your partner:" Don`t worry!"

d'abord belle désaturation partielle, j'aime beaucoup ce type de traitement. je trouve que tu donnes une belle image de ta ville, une ville avec une histoire.

initially beautiful partial desaturation, I like much this type of treatment. I find that you give a beautiful indication of your city, a city with a history.

Beautiful composition and the use of the B&W. The impression is about the way you see this town, an artistic point of view. I think that your creative skill could make a great shot of a simple leaf on the sidewalk of any city. Cheers. (Sorry for the grammar)

is that a ruin?!!
if it is, it is a gorgeous one! :)

i guess i can consider myself as a sort of regular visitor ... hehehe. never thought of Szentes as underdeveloped ... more of a quaint/charming place to live. :)

The your is another link I set on my blog at "D.P. sites personal selection" time ago. I love your photos because are often unusual. Please, don't change anything. Szentes viewed by your eyes is impressive and great.

Ditto to all the comments above. I love your photos. This one is so pretty, and I, too, would love to see the inside. I also love your traffic mirror self image, and all your others, for that matter. Keep up the great work!
