Antikvárium @ Pólya Street

Not too long ago, we discovered this antikvárium (Hungarian for second-hand book shop). If not mistaken, this is the only surviving one in town. As you can see the place is cramped which gave me a headache initially but I found 2 books within minutes of browsing! *satisfied*
The owner is a friendly chap (who keeps talking!). He told us that he prefers to trade for collections of pooms and classics. Erm... hopefully, he'll continue to carry other catergories for our sakes ;)

*recycled post from my other photoblog.

I am just looking for your other photoblog`s URL, but I can not find it.
I would like to link it on my Summertime blog.

Do I see a car behind books or are my eyes telling a lie to me ?

I like second hand books. Save a lot of money that way. I like your photograph too.

I took some rainy-day photographs, yesterday, that are very unusual. You might be interested in seeing them.

I love how you've captured the reflection as well. The car and books give it a very long-long-long time ago feel. hehehee :P

This looks like one of my rooms sometimes: the difference lies in the Trabant. Perfect object for an antikvárium. Great shot!

that is an interesting shot - I like how you presented this for a subject that is normally difficult to photograph - I also enjoyed the story!

Love the stacks and stacks -- and blue car in the reflection. I'm guessing you edited the color -- which I mention only to say bravo! Great choice. Fits the mood well.

Lessie,
i did indeed edited the colours, as there are too many things going-on at once :D
