DP Theme day : City Exchange

City exchange *brain storming*light bulb*... let's do Szentes' sister cities/town, fantastic!

Will just focus on one city which is Markgröningen(Germany) . Obviously I haven't been to the area but would really love to see the place for myself because...
am curious of what happens at a Shepherd's Race (a tradition since 1445)!
If I'm there for the race, I could attend their international music festival. Of course, the great attraction for me is their gorgeous architecture such as the one shown above. Can't wait!

FYI, our sister cities/towns incl :-
Bácskatopolya (Yugoslavia), Bunol (Spain), Markgröningen (Germany), Dubravuta-Újszentes (Romania), Sankt Augustin (Germany), Hof Ashqelon (Israel), Kaarina (Finland), Skierniewice (Poland)

Hi Kris! I agree with both Denton and Kate - good idea and charming building. I'd like to see a close up of that door!

I'm not sure what Sydney's sister cities are, nor even if it has any! What a brilliant way to treat the theme, and the photo is absolutely gorgeous, Kris!

I was overseas for a few days and only came home last night, too late to enrol in the Theme day, but I am participating anyway.
Cheers!

Very good idea to list your sister cites. It could be a separate theme day topic. Well we kind of did it this time. I love your photo.

When are you going there? I'd like to come along...at least for the Shepherd's Race (I hope they don't race sheeps!).

Very nice photograph and a great idea to list your sister cities.

My Theme Day is of a city unto itself, with its own zip code, and a portrait of the "Peashooter" at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hope you like flying.
