Nice moon photo. Ever wonder about the moon and what it would be like to be there and look down here. I used to and was disappointed when the LUnar Landing module showed us how it all looked. It sort of ruined my day.

I didn't do much today but...

I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

I think I know what you mean about the lack of inspiration. But you did very well with the moon. She hasn't been visible here for a few days, what with all the clouds and rain we've had.

Kris, great photo! I esp. like how the moon is off center, and with such a warm glow.

Very good photo of the moon! I have tried, and all I get is a solid white disk.

Wonderful photo. It seems much more near than it is.

Hey I posted the moon from Palm Springs, CA tonight! Interesting to see that it really is the same (in terms of fullness) no matter where you are in the world. http://palmspringsdailyphoto.blogsot.com

ramblinground,
am not sure what type of camera you're using. Mine is a entry level Pana FZ7. Zoom to the max. 12x and the other adjustments are

Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/3.3
Focal Length: 72 mm
ISO Speed: 80

Digital art,
your's so much fuller!

Fabrizio,
i've cropped, so that the details are clearer ;)

Z,
this was after a stormy late evening..it was calling me from our room's window!

Thank you all for your visits!

hope this helps. Also, use a tripod :)

There is a fine shimmer (a halo) around the moon. Well taken. - and there is a strange writing in space ... ;-)))
