Another festival = diet postponed

why is that when you declared you're going on diet, free food come your way?
This girl greeted us with some mini scones at yesterday's festival, which was hard to decline. It's delicious by the way :) We're celebrating the begining of autumn (? not sure really). Anyway, my point of this photo is to show the traditional costume she's wearing (see full length photos here) . Nice ain't it?

Kris, I don't know how you do it but your photos bring such joy.
And a good conversation too ...
The word pogácsa is used in Bulgaria too. It means a big round bread, well baked and adorned on top.

All the best

i know i've got to try one of those scones... lol.
the dresses are cute! will Tmicsi join them when she's older? :))

lachezar : i think its because i like to zoom in nearest to the subject. The feeling is intimate, i guess. Pogácsa , is used there too? we all live pretty near. Not surprising the cross culture :)

keropok : hope not too late in Singapore to still buy some for supper ;)

maiylah : the dresses of boys and girls are lovely isnt it? I hope she'll take up such activities. Seeing children do such cultural work is great :)

this photo makes me smile.
I was thinking why... Is it title? is it food she's holding? Oh yes, it's a smile on her face!

Man, I know what you mean! Once I realized that I didn't fit into my skinny pants anymore, I decide it was time to cut back on the calories. Now everyone is bombarding me with pieces of cake and cookes and bowls of ice-cream!
