This girl greeted us with some mini scones at yesterday's festival, which was hard to decline. It's delicious by the way :) We're celebrating the begining of autumn (? not sure really). Anyway, my point of this photo is to show the traditional costume she's wearing (see full length photos here) . Nice ain't it?

Hey Chris you happen to post a photo of some festival or the other regularly.I think I would love the Hungarian way of life with so many festivals ...
I love seeing the traditional clothes. I love scones too.
Even if you didn’t like scones, how could you turn down this charming little girl?
why not a tattood forehead with the website address today ? Only joking! Send me a scone please, I love them with jam and cream.

Kris, I don't know how you do it but your photos bring such joy.
And a good conversation too ...
The word pogácsa is used in Bulgaria too. It means a big round bread, well baked and adorned on top.
All the best
i want some of those scones. looking at them makes me hungry...
i know i've got to try one of those scones... lol.
the dresses are cute! will Tmicsi join them when she's older? :))
lachezar : i think its because i like to zoom in nearest to the subject. The feeling is intimate, i guess. Pogácsa , is used there too? we all live pretty near. Not surprising the cross culture :)
keropok : hope not too late in Singapore to still buy some for supper ;)
maiylah : the dresses of boys and girls are lovely isnt it? I hope she'll take up such activities. Seeing children do such cultural work is great :)
this photo makes me smile.
I was thinking why... Is it title? is it food she's holding? Oh yes, it's a smile on her face!
Man, I know what you mean! Once I realized that I didn't fit into my skinny pants anymore, I decide it was time to cut back on the calories. Now everyone is bombarding me with pieces of cake and cookes and bowls of ice-cream!
luggi : hahahah...as if that'll happen :p ..:D
ben : she was so kind to pose for us ..sweet girl :)
natalie : this world is cruel!!! btw, forget about the skinny pants..i'm glad if i fit into semi-skinny ones !!
