Am posting photo of these fascinating creatures for the 3rd time. Can't help it as they're visiting our town only for spring/summer plus I'm always curious at what their doing. Another interesting thing is how they co-existed with the construction workers without any trouble (you must see this) . They are gone now (2 weeks ago) and the building work is finished but their nest remains. To the stork - will see you next year, yeah!Note : Problem commenting? zsolt : they stayed til end of Aug'06 i think..as i mentioned , its gone now :)
in my country it's very well known they are bringing babies - that's how we're born - maybe those went away to do a job hahaha

these huge birds ("cegonhas" in portuguese) are a constant visit in the south of Portugal's summer. It's a pitty they don't like Lisbon..
