Staying focus

This photo reflects the street scene of yesterday. I think it sort of represents the summery of 2006 for me i.e. I haven't been focused with the goals set earlier this year. 2006 is another year slipping away.. hence, I'll carry forward the same resolutions for 2007 :p with a little more effort, I'm sure I'll achieve (most of) it ;) .......How has this year been for you?

Kris, It's been a typical year; I can relate to your photo, too. Some ups, some downs, some sadness, joy and great happiness with family living nearby. Life becomes more precious with each passing year; nothing is more important than family, friends, and good health.

Neat photo, it's almost kind of trippy. It seems to be a reflection of my past year as well--confused and active. I hope the next year can be more focused for you!

I like this photo a lot, Kris. It's beautifully composed, and is quite pleasing in its distorted reflection.

This has been an amazing year for me creatively. And otherwise, I am learning to live in the moment, and that is a source of great freedom.

It's been an interesting year - some bad times, some good things. I hope 2007 is not as eventful.

Well even if things are a bit blurry and out of focus you can still see the big picture though not completely in focus. Next year will be better, just keep reaching for that goal.

I guess you summarised it and worded it very well it for many of us!

Is that a reflection of a Trbant? I love these little guys. Had one in the old days!

Cheers!

a photo speaks a thousand words:) maybe you have 1000 words about 2006;)

I can't summarize my 2006 with one photo...but surely I had lots of new experiences in this year that are truly unusual and special. I've learnt something very important this year: to live each day to the FULLEST! and flipping (browsing) through my dp posts, I realised 'perspective' is very important, then our hearts tell us to 'focus'

zannie,
indeed, joining DP has made view things differently and definitely open my eyes. You raised good point, we shouldnt take things for granted and live life each day as if our last..so no regrets :)

Lachezar,
funny, i seem to get Trabant in my photos rather often. They are made to last!
