We are pretty good at saving energy, a habit really. That's why you hardly see lights switched-on at every household, compared to what you may see in other countries. Take ourself for example, the only light source in a room is coming from a tv or a computer monitor, so who needs a bulb?!
ps. have to meet translation dateline again....so, can't reply to your comments and visit around just yet, sorry!

The only time I see no lights on around here is when the power is out. Many have every light in the house on. We just keep one or two lights on where we are sitting. (My son says it's bad for eyes to watch TV without another light on, but I dunno.)
This photo is very interesting with your text.
superbe lumiere sur cette photo. le contrasme entre le vent et la pluie, et cette lumiere est magnifique.
superb light on this photograph. the contrasme between the wind and the rain, and this light is splendid.

Very thought provoking photo. I do like my lights on in the house, but don't leave them on when I'm not in that room as many do. I guess we use much because we have...sometimes wasteful too.
Incredible photo - truly beautiful.
Oh how I like this one! I wish I'd taken it!
Cheers!
Gratulalok, ezt remekul elkaptad!!!

Kala,
the down side is if everyone is doing it , a city will be dull and ghostly!

nagyon köszönöm!
photowanable,
that's what we do as well..switching on when we need to ..i.e. bathrooms. Its a matter of habbit.
Ruth,
there is some truth that its not good for the eyes, i tested that out since reading you comment and my eyes felt less stressful. So, now only one room is lited ;)
