stork, stork, stork

Am posting photo of these fascinating creatures for the 3rd time. Can't help it as they're visiting our town only for spring/summer plus I'm always curious at what their doing. Another interesting thing is how they co-existed with the construction workers without any trouble (you must see this) . They are gone now (2 weeks ago) and the building work is finished but their nest remains. To the stork - will see you next year, yeah!

Great shot Kris, I like that you caught it with its wings open. You can really see that they are very big birds!

..i wonder if it's the same pair that goes back every year... :)

Great capture. I only see ducks and crows ;-) And we also call this bird Stork in swedish.

Dear Kris, your photo of the storks and the painters each minding their own business within metres of each other is fantastic, thanks for that ! This one with the wings open is excellent too

these huge birds ("cegonhas" in portuguese) are a constant visit in the south of Portugal's summer. It's a pitty they don't like Lisbon..

Nice and peaceful shot. I share Jazzy's point of view concerning babies.
