With the advise from Bob ("be part of the landscape" he said) , I'm much more comfortable when taking snap shots of strangers. However, this is a permitted shot by the couple. Not the best shot and not the pose I would have wanted, but many eyes were staring at me , in the end I managed to take only ONE shot! -_-
It's uncommon to hold weddings on Sundays. Weddings are usually on Saturdays - civil registration, church reception, dinner reception, party til early morning- yup, in that order. That is why, I was surprise (also happy that I had my cam. with me) to see this couple outside the church 2 Sundays ago. Best wishes to them !

It's a cool picture and a cute couple.
Best wishes from me, too.

chris : well, sit or stand for a while, blend into the surrounding..then slowly uncover the lense, pretend shooting the building or whatever , voila ! Chris , just try it !
Nice wedding photo! An option for a side job for you? :)
I like how the background is blurred, gives a dreamy quality to the bride and groom.
What a beautiful image, dreamlike and timeless - well shot.
Thank you for your comments and your welcome to the mad world of daily photo bloggers.
I have no problem of taking photographs of people now, although it used to be a problem, but I managed to over come it. I do not intrude and ask when it is appropriate, but I do understand the difficulty. The image I am going to post tomorrow will be a very good example of exactly what you have talked about!!
Where we are in deepest France we are still on dialup – no chance of broadband for a while yet - so it takes me a bit if time to get round to see what others are up to. It also means I can’t possibly even do a quick scan of what going on, and I apologies if I don’t get around too often.
