-one of the display at bank's window- Many shops' windows (even banks') are displaying boards of photos of graduating secondary (High) school students and their teachers. Each class will have their own design. Not all have put up their creations yet, so I've not decided which I like best. When I first knew about this tradition, I thought its a competition of some sort which is not . Hmmm..back in my school days, we have a year book instead..
What about your town /city /country ?

You have great photos on your blog. I am enjoying following your postings.
Interesting.
They don't do that here.
For some reason these the people on these photos seem very fragile
Thanks Louise and Bob !
Bob: fragile ? ..hahah I dont get what you mean :)
We just have yearbooks, but I love this, especially the design, very unusual graphics...and the reflection also adds a dimension

We had yearbooks. Although when my mum went away to school in the 60's she kept a scrapbook. In which she kept ephemera from events, and little notes. It was way more interesting than a yearbook.
It's a great idea...I like this one...I wonder what the others did!
Great! Be proud of the accomplishments.
nope not us - we simply have year books like you =)
so seems like everyone has year books ..
Miss Tango, the scrap book is great , must have lots of treasurable memories in it :)
lorethian : i will hop by your blog today :)
Thank you all for dropping by :)
we have yearbooks too...this seems a rather odd, but interesting way to celebrate the end of school life. on tuesday it will be the last schoolday for our 6th years before they leave for exam leave...we're not sure what they're going to do...last year they covered the concourse in eggs and flour apparently (which they were made to clean up or would have been banned from sitting exams!!)
Grant : odd, indeed ! we used have this egg and flour thing, what a mess !!! yup, after that cleaning up is our job as well :s ..worst is going home in the dirty uniform and get ear full from mom :D
We didn't have any books or anything and to me the people in your picture look so serious :)
And everybody is so professionally dressed !
Hi Dutchie ,
usually they are in casual wear at school , so for this occasion the exception :)
