Never mind that the paint is coming off, never mind that clear arylics are missing from the door, never mind the rubber is pulled out, most importantly ... the phone is WORKING! *eye sore* That must be the motto of the phone company ! With nearly every person carrying a mobile phone, I wonder what will be the future for phone booths?

Never mind that the paint is coming off, never mind that clear arylics are missing from the door, never mind the rubber is pulled out, most importantly ... the phone is WORKING! *eye sore* That must be the motto of the phone company ! As you say, at least it works. I can't remember the last time I even saw a public telephone around here. They certainly are a dying breed.
i think they'll stay, Kris... sometimes a mobile phone's battery does get empty, and it's always handy to have a phone booth just "around the corner" when you need it! :))
At least the bottom is open. The old British red ones used to smell pretty bad especially on Saturday nights, and most of the time they didn't work.
maiylah : you have a good point . I think the company will just spend minimal on the maintenance .
