#357 - catch of the day

besides getting our heart rates up, another reward from our daily stroll is capturing what's blooming at the sidewalks.

ps..i'm terribly late in posting, but better late than never, right?

Really nice composition kris. I like the back lighting.

In this photo your creativity has been perfect! I love this photo.

And your photo about a baby of the Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) ( I think, it`s this species ) is just enjoyable and charming. Somebody should have taken a photo about you in this situation, looking up with your camera and this little owl looking down at you.

Nice time to you, Kris!

Brilliant photo, extraordinary in its composition and remarkably well balanced with the oblique lines and the dots of the flowers. Great colour scheme too!!!!

Nice, closeup. How did you get the layered look?

Kris said...

Denton,
by layering do you mean the watermark strip?

if so, the effect was done via Photofiltre (freeware), select Gradient. In this case, the effect was applied only in the vertical stripe and adjust the gradient's opacity to your preference.

Hope this answers your query :)

Thanks all again for your visits!
