Stick no bills

*more details, see larger*
See that bowling-pin-like cone? that's the advertising space for current events, mostly for entertainment outlets. I don't know about you, I find it a very ugly and messy! Weeks after weeks, the posters get bulkier! Some posters are not too family-friendly either or am I too conservative? Well, I do think they are effective advertising, they got my attention, at least ..

ps. Cooking and laundry weekend for me, check on you later :) Enjoy your weekend!

maiylah : we're of the same breed? i was thinking to myself the same question, who came up with the design ??? it's really eyesore.that's right in front of kindergarten ! :p ..lol!

It is an ugly eyesore, that's for sure! LOL - but I don't think nudity is awful if it's just the human body portrayed, like here.

Agree with you, this one seems quite chaotic!

Im lucky we have nothing like that here!! Very very bad and dirty !

Hi Kris, did you cover the "not family friendly" bit? I think they get specially messy when they get soggy with rain.

Hi Kris,

They have exactly the same things here - I don't find them very attractive either, especially when it rains but maybe if they didn't exist people wopuld out the posters up all over the place

Kris, I am enjoying seeing your photographs, even the one of the advertisement post. And I too like to go to the library to see the exhibits there. About homeless people, I wonder why the highly educated are overrepresented. Any ideas about that?

Agree with everyone - ugly!

I am not sure of sexual attitudes of Hungary, but say in a place like Greece they have porn and nude advertising everywhere. And yet they are extrememely prudish, although everyone seems to have affairs ;)

Hmmm, I see what you are saying.

guess i have to agree with Bob about putting all those posters up in one place..
quite interesting, though...it's located in front of a kindergarten??!! lol.. ;))

Well, I suppose they have to have a place for those things. But I agree that it's ugly and not very family friendly.

We don't have those things here and I do not think you are conservative at all - those explicit postings should be put in more appropriate places - we do not need to expose children to anymore obscene images than what is already on the net and T.V.

nicolas : i echo your opinion! kids should be allowed time to learn these things

natalie : right! put it at one special place, whoever is interested could go there

maiylah : yes, that should be the reason for such a space

Ms Tango : Hungarians are quite open minded about nudity

Annie : most of the grads. would only except highly paid jobs. When they learn that lawyers are well paid, everyone jump to the bandwagon, in result, the supply more than demand , unemployment follows, then all sorts of social problems arise ...

Bob : yes, i think that must be the reason

Lisi : i did ...heheh

Thank you all for stopping by , appreciate the response :)
