out on the field

Got on a bus at 9.26am not knowing where i should stop exactly. Just had in my mind that I want to shoot sunflowers, something which has been on my wish list for long time. Voila..found acres upon acres of sunflowers! a common sight this time of the year at the farming area and gosh! an average flower is about 10"(25cm) in dia.! They're used for producing sunflower seeds snack and oil, I suppose. Anyway, might return there again 'cos not 100% satisfied with the shots i've got -_-.... \/ peace!

I love sunflower fields. These look great!
I actually planted sunflowers in my garden this year and about 6 of them actually grew. Not much of a field.

I love this shot. I think I see some sunflowers on the way home—they are litte though. I might try to snap a pic today. My grandparents had some sunflowers growing at the side of their house when I was growing up, they were huge, both diameter wise (flowers) and height wise (the stalks).

I love this sunflower shot, Kris! We have a field quite close where you can pick them yourself and leave some money to the owner for picking. I should take a photo of it as well...

shorty : am usually not into flowers but this species are enormous in size and make me feel awed!
